The Winter Showdown Triple Crown Series will wrap up its inaugural season on home soil with a truly unique finale. The championship round hits the track on February 26, 2026, at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park — the only Canadian venue on iRacing — and this time, it’s not your typical road course lineup. Drivers will take the green flag in Late Model Stocks, tackling one of the most challenging road courses in sim racing to decide who claims the first-ever Triple Crown title.

As the series prepares to crown its champion, competitors will have to put every bit of skill, adaptability, and strategy to the test. After starting on the short track at Hickory Motor Speedway and then taking to the dirt at Huset’s Speedway, the Winter Showdown now goes international and multi-disciplinary — closing out the season with a twist few saw coming.

“We wanted the championship to be something completely different — something that pushes drivers out of their comfort zone,” said Jon Morrison of JoMo Media. “Running Late Model Stocks on a road course like Canadian Tire Motorsport Park is going to be wild. It’s technical, it’s fast, and it’s the perfect way to end this diverse Triple Crown challenge.”

Located in Bowmanville, Ontario, Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP) is known for its sweeping elevation changes, high-speed corners, and unforgiving layout. Drivers will face a demanding test as they adapt their short-track machines to a road racing environment — managing braking zones, corner exits, and tire wear over the course of the event.

The combination of oval-bred Late Models and road course racing promises an unforgettable finale — one that will challenge even the most seasoned iRacers and thrill fans watching live.
