For Delaware Speedway Bone Stock driver Kassy Howard, the 2025 season was one of challenges, adjustments, and growth. The year didn’t start the way she had hoped — early mechanical struggles kept her and her team searching for answers. “We thought we had fixed the issues with the car but something was still off,” Kassy explained. “So we decided to sell it and put a motor in the car my sister drove last season.”
That decision proved to be a turning point. Once the #59 car hit its stride, Howard found herself turning competitive lap times and gaining confidence each week. She eventually broke into the 23-second range, marking a major milestone and securing the title of top-placing female in the Bone Stock division.

When asked to rate her season, Kassy gave it a lighthearted “B-,” reflecting both her satisfaction and her drive to keep improving. “It was good but not great,” she said with a laugh. “I know there’s more in me and the car, and that’s what I’m working toward.”
One of her favorite moments of the season came after her fastest run. “I came in from running my fastest lap in the 23s, and my dad put my window net down and asked, ‘How does the car feel? Gotta be good because you just ran in the 23s, kiddo!’” That moment, she said, summed up everything she loves about racing — the hard work, the family bond, and the joy of progress.

Looking ahead, Kassy’s off-season plan is simple: rest, regroup, and prepare so the team isn’t rushed heading into 2026. “My plan is to stay in the Bone Stocks, work on consistently getting faster, and get back to where I used to be,” she said. “Overall, I just want to continue building my confidence.”
Kassy extended her appreciation to those who make it all possible: “I want to thank my family for always supporting me, my friends at the track who helped with adjustments and pep talks between races, and of course our amazing sponsors — NE1 Spirits, Mt Brydges Bulldogs, Corbel Renovation Company, Gerry’s Truck Centre, Friyia Consulting Canada, WAMPUM Fuels, Howard’s Custom Sports, KPH Photography, and Bert’s Repair Service.”
With her sights set on improvement and confidence building, Kassy Howard is gearing up to make 2026 her strongest season yet behind the wheel of the #59 Bone Stock.
