For Wyatt Sutcliffe and the Sutcliffe Brothers Racing team, the 2025 season was one to remember. Entering the year with modest expectations and a focus on running for points, Wyatt quickly exceeded his own goals — finishing an impressive third in the overall standings. What started as a learning year turned into a breakout campaign that showcased both consistency and speed for the young driver.
“The season was very good,” said Sutcliffe. “I went into it with fairly OK expectations and planned to run for points this year. We ended up third in points, which is a lot higher than I expected. The car was very fast all season, and we made lots of adjustments that ended up paying off in the end.”

One of the biggest highlights came during a memorable night at Sunset Speedway, when Wyatt and his brother Jake finished first and second in the feature — a true family moment that captured what grassroots racing is all about. “That night was amazing,” Wyatt shared. “It was such an electric feeling — no drug could ever replace what that felt like. Other than that, securing a couple of heat wins was awesome too.”
Looking ahead to 2026, Wyatt is focused on continuing to improve and chase even greater success. “My plans for 2026 are to hopefully end up somewhere high in the standings again, have a successful year with minimal wrecks, and maybe win a couple of features,” he said. “Honestly, we don’t know exactly what the next year has in store, but I’m excited to find out.”

Sutcliffe made sure to thank those who make his racing dreams possible. “A huge thank you to my family — my mom, dad, Kaitlyn, and my brother — as well as my lovely girlfriend for all their support,” Wyatt said. “Thanks to my friends Jake, Ethan, and everyone else who helped out this year. Big thanks to the crew and everyone instrumental to our success, and of course to our amazing sponsors: 24 Seven Auto Collision, McMillan More Motorsports, JoMo Media & Promotions, Stickers and Scuffs, and 1010 Radio with Frank Cohen. We can’t thank you enough — your support means the world to us.”
With another strong season behind him and momentum on his side, Wyatt Sutcliffe heads into the new year ready to build on his success and continue making waves in the Ontario racing scene.
