Ty Cavallin Shows Speed and Determination in Promising 2025 Season

ree

The 2025 season was one filled with speed, growth, and resilience for Ty Cavallin and the TC Racing #7 team. Competing full-time at Sauble Speedway, Cavallin and his crew put together what many considered their fastest and most competitive season to date, proving that hard work and dedication can turn potential into performance.

From the very start, the team came out strong. On opening night, Cavallin made a statement by setting the fastest qualifying time of the season, immediately establishing himself as one to watch. The speed in the #7 car was undeniable, and week after week, the team continued to show their capability to run at the front of the field.

Reflecting on the year, Ty gave the season a solid “B” rating, proud of the progress made but aware of where improvement is still possible. “It was probably our fastest season yet,” said Cavallin. “There’s always room for improvement, and I know I still need to clean up my driving line, but overall, I’m really happy with how competitive we were.”

However, the season wasn’t without its challenges. A tough night at Flamboro Speedway resulted in a significant wreck that sidelined the team sooner than expected. While the damage was unfortunate, it hasn’t dampened their determination. Instead, it’s fueled their motivation heading into the off-season, where Ty and the crew are already hard at work preparing for a strong comeback in 2026.

Looking ahead, TC Racing plans to return to Sauble Speedway full-time and mix in a few special events at other tracks, continuing to build on the speed and progress made this past year. “We’ve got a lot of work to do now that the car was wrecked,” Cavallin said. “But we’ll come back stronger and ready to compete every weekend.”

Cavallin expressed deep appreciation for the people and partners who make it all possible. “A huge thanks to my family for always cheering us on and standing behind me,” he said. “Our crew—Nick Holman, Dalen Martin, Mike Hastings and Fleet, Willie, Donald Lunn, and of course my dad—for giving me a rocket every weekend. None of this would be possible without them or our incredible sponsors who keep this program going.”
