Welcome to episode 149 of the True North Racing Podcast presented by Driving With Hailey. We have an action packed episode for you as we catch you up on the weekend between Ohsweken and Flamboro Speedway. On this weeks episode we are joined by Jacob Ross who competes in the pro late model division at Grand Bend Speedway.


In our Peps Pro Painting Opening Segment Jon talks about how he and Jacklyn spent the weekend as Friday night the pair traveled to Ohsweken Speedway for the Northern Crate Nationals to record an all new A Day At The Races with Cam Thomson. Cam ran his heart out and it was great again to hang out with the entire CT Racing team for the second year in a row for the Nationals. On Saturday, Jon and Jacklyn headed to Flamboro for night #2 as we meet up with Mark Allan with his car nicknamed "The Pug". Mark is one of the nicest guys you can meet at the race track. The group he has around him also are second to none. Mark broke a spindle in Feature #1 and Alex Stewart, Spencer Riddell and Kyle all jumped in to fix and get Mark back out for feature #2. We are planning to have both race day vlogs drop this week, stay tuned to our social media pages for each vlog.

Now it's time for our GraphInk Design Studio Guest Segment as we bring onto the program Jacob Ross. Jacob competes in the Pro Late Model division at Grand Bend Speedway where he was the 2023 Pro Late Model Champion. Though his 2024 season didn't go as planned Jacob did make the most of it as he helped younger drivers competing in the Mirco Sprints on Thursday Nights at Ohsweken Speedway. Jacob also did some travelling helping different teams. We learned about Jacobs beginnings into racing and how he got started all those years ago. We won't disclose much more so you can enjoy the full conversation.
