Kait Wallace Enjoys a Stress-Free, Fun-Filled Partial Season at Flamboro Speedway

In 2025, Mini Stock competitor Kait Wallace took a step back from the full grind of racing, opting instead for a low-pressure, fun-focused approach — and it paid off in a big way. Piloting her familiar #45 Ford Mustang, Wallace only competed in four events at Flamboro Speedway, but every time she strapped in, she made it count.

“My partial season in my mini stock was the best!!” Wallace said with a laugh. “I only made it out four times and just went into each night with no stress, no expectations — and it worked so well in my favour! It was just so nice to be back in the car and around my friends at the track.”

Despite limited starts, Wallace’s performances were impressive and full of confidence. Her highlight came in September when she returned to racing after a few months off. “It was just Dale and I there since my parents were away, and we genuinely just went to have a fun night, race the car, eat some track food,” she explained. “That mentality must’ve done something to me because I drove better than I possibly ever had! I beat my previous best lap time multiple times and couldn’t stop smiling.”

Her strong form carried into FrostoberFest, one of Flamboro’s most competitive and chaotic weekends. “In my early years, I didn’t enjoy Frostober Fest because of all the chaos,” Wallace admitted. “But this year was different — it was the best one yet! I was 5th to 7th fastest overall, pulled pole for the feature, and finished 5th. It was such a confidence booster!”

When asked to grade her season, Kait didn’t hesitate: “Is A+ an option? If so, definitely A+!”

Away from the racetrack, Wallace continues to stay busy with home renovations and her work at the bakery. As for 2026, she’s keeping things open-ended. “We don’t have any plans. The car is still listed for sale, but if it’s still in my possession, I’ll probably do the same as this year — go out when I can, have fun, and not stress about it.”

Kait was quick to thank the people and partners who make it all possible: “A huge thank you to my mom, dad, and Dale — I wouldn’t be where I am without them. Also a big shoutout to my sponsors Jukasa Designs, Cainsville Tire Discounter, and Bialas Printing. And thanks to Ladies of the Oval, Lift The Visor, JoMo Media, Stickers N’ Scuffs, and Project Dragonfly for their continued support!”

For Wallace, 2025 was a reminder of what racing is all about — fun, friends, and fast laps — and she’s proof that a relaxed approach can sometimes bring out the very best behind the wheel.
