JoMo Media Set to Take On a Busy Summer with “A Day At The Races”

April 24, 2025 – As the green flag drops on another race season, JoMo Media is shifting into high gear for its fourth consecutive summer of A Day At The Races. Spearheaded by Jon of JoMo Media, the popular video series gives motorsports fans an all-access pass to the raw, behind-the-scenes action of race day—from the early morning arrival at the track, through repairs and preparations, to the exhilaration of victory lane.

"This program is about more than just the racing," says Jon, founder of JoMo Media. "It's about the pride drivers and teams carry with them, the long nights in the garage, and the emotional rollercoaster that comes with competition. I’m proud of what A Day At The Races shows—it’s honest, real, and driven by passion.”

A Packed Schedule Across Ontario

JoMo Media’s 2025 season schedule is jam-packed, with stops planned across some of Ontario’s most iconic short tracks, including:

• Sunset Speedway – May 3rd: The season kicks off with a double feature vlog with Sutcliffe Brothers Racing’s Jacob and Wyatt Sutcliffe in the Mini Stock division.

• Peterborough Speedway – May 17th: JoMo Media makes its debut at "Canada’s Toughest 1/3 Mile" covering Cory Horne, both as a team owner in Bone Stock and driver in the Truck Series.

• Flamboro Speedway – June 14th: A return to Jon’s roots, documenting Chris Pendlebury’s Mini Stock battle and his crew work for J.R. Fitzpatrick in the Ontario Outlaw Super Late Models.

• Merrittville Speedway – June 21st: Dirt racing with Darren Dryden and the Southern Ontario Sprints Series.

• Sauble Speedway – June 29th: Capturing Ty Cavallin and TC Racing in the Pro Late Model division.

• Flamboro Speedway (second visit) – July 5th: Featuring Tenli Pepin in the #54 Ontario Pro Challenge.

• Peterborough Speedway (second visit) – July 26th: With Brandon Feeney racing in the OSCAAR Modifieds.

• Sunset Speedway (second visit) – September 6th: Featuring Mini Stock driver Michael Robinson III.

• Ohsweken Speedway – Finale: Closing the season at the Northern Crate Sprint Nationals with Cam Thomson and CT Racing.

Jon is especially excited about returning to Flamboro Speedway, a place that’s been a constant in his life since he was 14. “I’ve had so many memorable nights there—watching from the stands, turning wrenches in the pits, and now capturing it all for JoMo Media. It’s home,” he shares. He’s also looking forward to his first visit back to Merrittville since 2021. “Dirt racing is something special, and you can’t go to Merrittville without grabbing a pizza or stopping by the Smokehouse.”

Double Feature in August

On August 16th, JoMo Media will cover a special double vlog with JTM Racing’s Jae and Maddux Pepin, competing in the Grindstone Landscaping Canadian Vintage Modifieds.

Supporting Local Talent and Stories

Through every race day vlog, A Day At The Races tells the story of the unsung heroes behind the wheel and under the hood. “We’re traveling track to track to highlight the local racing scene and the people who make it all happen,” Jon explains.
