JoMo Media Drivers Lineup: May 9–11

It’s opening weekend for two of Ontario’s most exciting tracks as Ohsweken Speedway and Delaware Speedway kick off their 2025 racing seasons! Fans can expect high-octane action and fierce competition as the green flag drops on a brand-new year of racing.

🏁 Track Facts: Delaware Speedway

• 📍 Location: Delaware, Ontario

• 📏 Track Size: ½ mile (0.8 km) paved oval

• 🏁 Opened: 1952 – one of Canada’s oldest operating speedways

• 🧭 Track Type: Asphalt oval with high-speed corners and long straightaways

• 🏎️ Notable Series: NASCAR Canada Series, Late Models, Super Stocks, V8 Stocks

• 🎟️ Known For: Close racing, deep history, and a loyal fanbase

• 📍 Location: Ohsweken, Ontario (on the Six Nations of the Grand River)

• 📏 Track Size: 3/8 mile (0.6 km) clay oval

• 🏁 Opened: 1996

• 🧭 Track Type: Dirt oval known for fast, side-by-side action

• 🏎️ Notable Series: 360 Sprint Cars, Crate Sprints, Thunder Stocks, NASCAR Canada Series (since 2022)

• 🎟️ Known For: Being Canada’s premier dirt track and the only Canadian dirt venue to host NASCAR

• 📸 Fun Fact: NASCAR star Tony Stewart has competed (and won) here!

Driver Spotlight: #63 Cole Burrows

Sixteen-year-old Cole Burrows returns for his third season in the Super Stock division at Sunset Speedway, still in pursuit of his first feature win. After several near victories, Cole has shown he has the pace and potential to be a serious contender in 2025.
