Long Weekend Racing Action – Championship Season Begins

The long weekend is here, marking the unofficial end of summer—and with it comes one of the most exciting times of the season. Kids head back to school next week, but before then, champions will be crowned under the lights. Peterborough Speedway will be the first track to name its 2025 champions, and several JoMo Media drivers are firmly in the hunt.

• Bone Stocks: Victoria McLenon sits 3rd in the standings, with Cory Horne close behind in 4th. Angelo & Kyle Novis hold 10th.

• Jr. Late Models: Avery Kirkpatrick is 9th, with Savannah Strawn in 13th.

• Late Models: Gary Hannah enters championship night in 6th.

Driver Spotlight: Jr. Late Models

This week we shine the spotlight on our two Jr. Late Model competitors—Avery Kirkpatrick and Savannah Strawn. Both young drivers have battled through the highs and lows of 2025, scoring multiple top-10 finishes along the way. They’ve also shown incredible resilience, bouncing back strong after tough wrecks earlier in the year. This Saturday, they’ll look to finish the season on a high note at Peterborough Speedway’s Championship Night. Racing begins at 4:00pm—come cheer them on!
