The 2025 season at Peterborough Speedway was a memorable one for veteran racer Gary Hannah, who capped off the year 5th in overall points with three Top-5 finishes and four Top-10s to his credit.
“It was a great start to the season,” Hannah said. “We had some ups and downs along the way, being involved in a few crashes, but overall it was a year to build from.”

When asked to grade his performance, Hannah gave himself a solid “B” for the year. His focus was not just on results, but also on improvement and consistency throughout the season.
Looking ahead, Hannah is already setting his sights on 2026. “We plan on running our regular season at Peterborough again, but when that wraps up, we’re hoping to try a race out east at Petty International Raceway before heading back to Autumn Colours Classic (ACC) for the end of the year.”

For next season, Hannah has his goals set clearly: “To finish in the top five is a very reasonable position for us. We’ll take what we learned this year and keep building on it.”
None of this would have been possible without the support of his partners and team. Hannah expressed deep appreciation for his sponsors: Lake Side Tire, Harsco, Napa, Ducks Automotive, DiBello Towing, and especially his family and crew.
“If it wasn’t for my family and crew being there every week, putting in the hours, and the help we got from other racers, we wouldn’t have been able to finish our season the way we did,” Hannah said.
With determination, experience, and a strong support system, Gary Hannah heads into 2026 with momentum and confidence, ready to chase even bigger goals both at home in Peterborough and beyond.
