The 2025 season was one of transformation for Bone Stock driver Rachel Mitchell, who returned to Flamboro Speedway determined to push her limits — both behind the wheel and in the garage.

Looking for a fresh start, Mitchell kicked off the year by repainting her car blue — a decision she quickly reversed, reverting back to her familiar colors that had brought her success before. That familiar comfort seemed to carry over onto the track, as Rachel opened the season with strong momentum. She improved her lap times, gained confidence in her car’s handling, and reached a major milestone with her first-ever feature win — a race that saw her brother finishing close behind in an unforgettable family moment. Rachel had this to say about her first feature win. ”It was a true accomplishment hearing Chase admit that he couldn’t catch me.”

But like many racers know, the road to success is rarely smooth. Rachel battled through a tough stretch as her lap times dropped despite constant adjustments and part replacements. Still, she and her team refused to quit, and their persistence paid off late in the season when they rediscovered their speed just in time to close the year strong. Mitchell ended the season with a fitting result — 9th in both features and 9th in the championship standings. For her, the triple nines symbolized closure, growth, and new beginnings — the perfect summary of her 2025 campaign.

“I may not have had the finishes I hoped for, but I learned so much,” Rachel shared. “Mechanically, mentally, and emotionally — this season helped me grow as both a racer and a person.”

With 24 race nights under her belt, the off-season will start with a well-earned break before diving into preparation for what she calls “big plans for 2026.” Fans can expect to see Mitchell and her familiar ride back at Flamboro next year — perhaps with a brand-new look to match her renewed confidence.

Rachel extends a heartfelt thank you to her family, her boyfriend, and her sponsor McTear Water Haulage for their unwavering support throughout the year. “This season wouldn’t have been possible without them,” she said.

For now, Rachel Mitchell closes out 2025 proud, grateful, and ready for the next chapter — a year that promises even bigger things both on and off the track.
