Chris Pendlebury Sets Sights on 2025 Season at Flamboro Speedway

As the offseason comes to a close, Chris Pendlebury, the talented Mini Stock driver, is gearing up for another exciting season on the track. With a focus on chasing a championship at Flamboro Speedway, Pendlebury is also planning to lend a hand to fellow racer JR Fitzpatrick with his Super Late Models. However, there will be some adjustments to his schedule, as driver Cam Thomson will fill in for Pendlebury when conflicts arise.

When asked about his goals for the upcoming season, Pendlebury kept it simple and clear. "The main objective is to keep the car clean, run up front with the big boys, and, most importantly, have fun," he said. "I also hope to travel to a couple of tracks on off nights, if it’s doable." This mindset reflects Pendlebury’s commitment to competing at a high level while maintaining the enjoyment that keeps him passionate about the sport.

Exciting Races and New Challenges

One event Pendlebury is particularly excited about is the Delaware Speedway Mini Stock Invitational, an event that promises to showcase some of the best in the business. "I'm definitely looking forward to the Delaware race for the Minis," he shared. Along with this, Pendlebury is eager to be part of the Super Late schedule and is especially looking forward to hitting some road courses.

Facing Strong Competition

Flamboro Speedway is known for its competitive field, and Pendlebury knows he’ll have his work cut out for him in 2025. "Flamboro has a pretty good field of cars that are usually on their game," he commented. "I’d have to say all of them, especially defending champion Matt Young, will be tough competitors."

Reflecting on his experiences from 2024, Pendlebury noted the importance of enjoying the journey. "Just keep having fun like we did last year and stay away from the drama," he said, emphasizing his desire to maintain a positive, drama-free environment.

As the 2025 season approaches, Pendlebury’s determination to chase the championship, take on new challenges, and enjoy the ride is clear. Fans of the sport can look forward to watching him compete and make his mark on another thrilling season at Flamboro Speedway and beyond.
