Cam Thomson Shines at the Northern Crate Nationals at Ohsweken Speedway

It was a big night for Cam Thomson and the #28T CT Racing Sprint Car as they rolled into Ohsweken Speedway for the prestigious Northern Crate Nationals. With a packed field of sprint cars and fans filling the grandstands, Cam and his team put on a strong performance that showed speed, determination, and plenty of fight.

Heat Race Win

Lining up 2nd in Heat Race #3, Cam wasted no time putting the #28T out front. Once he grabbed the lead, he never looked back — pacing the field with confidence and picking up the heat race victory in dominant fashion.

Pole Dash

The win earned Cam a spot in the Pole Dash, where he lined up 7th against the night’s fastest cars. In the short sprint, Cam made up ground and crossed the line 6th, giving him solid starting position for the main event.

Feature Event

Rolling off 6th for the 30-lap feature, Cam quickly showed his speed, battling inside the top five and climbing as high as 4th place during the early stages. As the race wore on and track conditions changed, the competition tightened up, and Cam ultimately brought the #28T CT Racing Sprint Car home in 10th place after a hard-fought battle.

Building Momentum

While the team was aiming for a stronger finish, the night was full of positives — from leading every lap in the heat race to showing top-five speed in the feature. Cam continues to build momentum and experience on the big stage, and the Northern Crate Nationals marked another step forward in his sprint car journey.
