About Ty

Since firing up TC Racing in 2013, Ty Cavallin has been turning laps and turning heads. Starting his career at Sauble Speedway behind the wheel of a Jr. Late Model, Ty quickly proved he had the natural talent and drive to win — racking up multiple victories and capturing the 2016 Jr. Late Model Championship.

As he graduated through the ranks, Ty continued his winning ways. In 2018, he made the jump into the Bone Stock division, where he earned a feature win and finished second in the championship points.

By 2021, Ty was ready for a new challenge — stepping into the Pro Late Model ranks through Sauble’s United 8’s division. The following seasons saw Ty split time between Sauble Speedway and Flamboro Speedway, where his talent shone through with multiple feature wins, a Rookie of the Year title at Flamboro, and a pair of runner-up finishes in championship standings.

The 2025 season marked a breakout year for Ty. Competing full-time at Sauble Speedway, he set the fastest lap of the season, battled for wins week after week, and ultimately finished second overall behind veteran Tom Gibbons. He also impressed at Flamboro Speedway, closing the year with another podium finish.

With speed, consistency, and a growing list of accomplishments, Ty Cavallin and TC Racing have built a strong foundation heading into 2026 — ready to turn close finishes into checkered flags.
